Hi, I'm Eve Greenway and I love to read. I've been a huge bookworm all my life and I want to share that passion with the world.

My favourite book of all time is Donna Tartt's The Secret History; I first read it when I was doing my A Levels and have re-read it every year since. The title of the blog actually comes from one of my favourite lines from the book: "colours so bright, they nearly broke my heart."

I try my best to read a wide range of books and genres, from modern fiction to classic books from the literary canon. My aim for this blog is to share the best books I've read from a variety of genres to help others get into reading and enjoy it like I do. There's nothing worse than not knowing what to read, but with my help hopefully you'll never be stuck for recommendations again!
